My husband & I stayed here for our Honeymoon September 2014 - October 2014. The view from our room was breathtaking & incredibly romantic. We had fresh, amazing breakfast every morning & still miss it today! The owners had friends run it while they were away & they gave us tons of places to visit & things to do on the island. We would definitely go back there.
We stayed for a week enjoying the breathtaking views, scrumptious breakfasts, local activities and warm hospitality at Aloha Guest House. Lee and Svetlana are warm and welcoming hosts. The property is clean, comfortable and well cared for. Their love of the land and people shows in everything they do, and in short order we felt more like friends than "tenants". If you want to break away from the resorts with their throngs of tourists and see the island more like a local, this is THE place for you.
We just returned from this AMAZING stay at this lovely property with the best views from the gorgeous lanai. Lee and Svetlana invited us into their home, joined us for breakfast with other guests and attended to our every need. They provided great recommendations for where to eat and travel from the B and B, including great snorkeling and hiking just down the road. The breakfasts were unique and outstanding, the rooms are cozy and we cannot recommend this friendly retreat more highly. Lee has a great sense of humor (comparing himself to Eddie Albert from the old TV show Green Acres)and Svetlana has a great attention to detail, making her own breads and jams. This home is a treasure to stay in. Truly the best B and B we have ever stayed in. We hope to return soon. Mahalo to you both for helping us end a great vacation on your beautiful island.
Absolutely fantastic. The best B&B in which I've ever stayed. Phenomenal breakfast, great rooms, friendly and accommodating staff with great tips and beach gear that is free to borrow. You're away from the city streets and in the heart of natural Hawaii, with a breathtaking view of the ocean. A diamond in the tropical rough.
Thanks Lee and Svetlana for making our vacation enjoyable, unique and memorable!
Wow. The view, the breakfast, the hospitality, and the owners are nothing short of amazing. We kicked off our 9 day honeymoon here with a 3 night stay, and I wish we could have cancelled our next stop so we could stay at the Aloha Guest House even longer. Svetlana made amazing breakfasts each day (majority of the food coming from their organic farm), and Lee knows everything Hawaii! Great advice and stories! Look no further and book this place! We stayed in the Kohala room....Ahhhhh-mazing!
