Very simple place with home cooked meals. The pork and cabbage was tasty, and so was the lau lau. We had to grab a quick, early dinner in the way back from the painted church and that was just right.
This is a real hole in the wall, but seems to be popular with the locals. It was like we were in this ladies house and she's cooking in her kitchen. She places individual attention to each order. A big crowd came in after us and they did have to wait awhile. There were some tables there, but many took their food to go. If you want to try local Hawaiian fare, this is a good place.
A very easy going and relaxed atmosphere. Two large tables with several chairs. Only single plates offered this New Year's Day of pork lau lau. Delicious and so friendly! Don't miss it!
