Great afternoon, thanks Ray, luckily the dolphins were back in the bay, so we got to watch then jump and spin as we kayaked across. Had a couple of hours snorkeling at the Captain Cook Monument great loads of fish to see. Ray told us about the history of the area. A few days before we had hiked down to the monument would recommend the kayak, even though I had never kayaked before was less strenuous than the hike.

Kayaking early in the morning is best if you want to avoid crowds.

This was a great trip. For about $30 to $70 less than the competitors, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. We took the 7am tour and ended up at Captain Cook about an hour before anyone else showed up. There were 4 of us total snorkeling around that great area. Our guide Mike knew his history and biology and kept the trip fun.

My wife and I did the early morning kayak to Captain Cook monument. It was amazing! The kayak trip across the bay was not overly difficult or long (about 1.25 miles straight across the bay). The snorkeling when you get there is incredible! There are beautiful and colorful fish everywhere you look. Given that you can't beach your kayak without a permit of some sort it is definitely worth going with a company. And this company was awesome. The guides we had (Roy and Natasha I think) were awesome! They were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were fun to go with! And we didn't realize it at the time but the 7:00 AM tour with these guys is the first out of the gate every morning so when we got there we had a good 30-45 minutes in the water with just the few of us on this tour before the hoards of kayaks and boats started showing up. That was a nice and unexpected perk. I would definitely recommend going to Captain Cooks and going with Adventures in Paradise.

Awesome guides, Mike and Klay. Not a minute that was not informative and made everyone feel at ease and not always easy. The idea of paddling across the bay was overwhelming and they stopped to tell interesting history along the way there and before you know it you are there. Time at the monument was great. The reef and marine life is amazing and they really encourage you to explore the different areas. Snacks were varied for all tastes. The trip back was magical as we stopped and watched a large pod of spinners and that alone would have made the trip. There is a reason this group has great reviews and they lived up to them all for our trip
