My group only stayed here for one night but I really loved the experience. The proprietor, I believe his name is Eric, is very outgoing and humorous too. He knows a lot about the local area and can give great recommendations about recreational activities.
The rooms are large and can accommodate up to six people. The futon sofas are quite uncomfortable though.
Place has a nice layout and room sizes,building just needs some maintance,smells very musty and damp and appears a lot of water damage areas,such as the kitchen floor buckling up in the center and the wood rotting around our toilet, there is also a ant problem in our bathroom. I fell the price was a little high for just a overnight stay, to charge as much as they do I would expect things to be in better order, at this point would have to think about staying here again. The place itself is very clean. It feels a little worn but almost every single cottage, rental home, bed and breakfast will be worn because it's always humid. There is a large kitchen and entertainment area and outdoor sheltered dining which is a plus. You can do your own laundry and leave a donation and you can also pick fruit on the property. I did notice that the walls are lacking decoration so hanging a few pictures here and there would spruce it up.
The owner was very accommodating to our last minute needs the suites alone offered space and comfort it felt like home away from home I would definitely stay here again my Ohana says thank you again for allowing your beautiful ranch set up Halemalu be apart of our fun vacation Salamat and Mahalo
Nice layout the place was just very dated and smelled musty, evidence of water damage on floor and in our bathroom. The rooms were large . The place has great potential to be excellent with a good update of furnishings, floor and paint
Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to others.
Environment is good, place is very spacious but beds are pathetic.
